Dream Big: 5th Graders and the 'Īnana Innovators Program

How do you get 5th graders excited about college? We show them that college can empower them to dream bigger and equip them with the skills to work towards their dreams.

This month, 254 fifth-graders from schools across the islands visited Chaminade to participate in the "I Go To College" event.

Our 'Īnana Innovators Program had the privilege of hosting 30 fifth graders to share information about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and engage them in an exercise that dared them to dream about how they could use their superpowers to achieve one of the SDGs. The results were awe-inspiring.

This next generation has so much to offer, and it is our responsibility to create the environment and opportunities for them to do so.

Fifth graders, thank you for sharing your superpowers, your dreams, and your spirit! See you in college soon
